Discord Roles

• A Discord role is essentially ranks on the Discord platform. These roles can be called different things and may differ from community to community. In the reselling community there are many types of roles that are used to perform certain tasks.

• Members can assign them selves roles which will give them a tailored experience based on what roles they assign them selves.

Above is an example of a channel where members can assign them selves roles by reacting on set emojis which correlate to the said role in the message

• For example, in DreamCook we have 3 main different regional roles; EU, USA and CAD. If a member reacts to the EU flag they will be given the EU role. Before we mentioned that roles can do different things; Staff in DreamCook can "ping" a certain role which will notify everyone with that specific role. This can be useful, for example if there is some information about x sneaker which is dropping on an EU only site, staff can "ping" the EU role to inform everyone with the EU role about said information without "pinging" other members who do not need to know this information as they are not from the EU.

• Most roles will likely be informational however in the future DreamCook plans to make roles open and close different areas of the server to avoid cluttering. As we said before roles can do multiple things, for example DreamCook staff can stop x role from seeing x channel or category, this can be useful for stopping members with the USA role from seeing unnecessary EU information.

Role Information:

🇪🇺 EU - This role is used to ping members about EU related information

🇺🇸 USA - Similarly to EU, this role is used to ping members about USA related information

🇨🇦 CAD - Similary to EU and USA, this role is used to ping members about CAD related information

🛒 CARTS - This role was used back in the day to distribute something called "carts". However this role is no longer in use

🔴 SUPREME - This role is used to ping Supreme related information such as; site updates, resell analysis, restock information etc...

🎊 GIVEAWAYS - This role is used to ping for giveaways ranging from free bot rentals to free CFA codes to free proxies

🤖 BOT NEWS - This role is used to ping bot related information such as bot restocks and investments

👟 RELASES - This role is used to ping for overall information, this is a highly recommended role as it is used for general, all round informational posts

📑 SLOTS - Also known as ACO, this role is used to ping for ACO posts and updates

⚡ BOT USER - This role is used to ping bot user related information such as guides on specific sites

⌨️ MANUAL - Similarly to the BOT USER role, this role is used to ping manual related information such as tips and tricks on how to cop x item manually on x site

💵 FLIPS - This role is used to ping for information regarding "lowkey" drops / releases. In the reselling community "lowkey" is referring to items that are not as main stream as the sneaker releases. These "lowkey" flips can range from anything to makeup to art to consoles to toys

🚪 BACKDOOR - This role is used to ping members about backdoor related posts such as free / retail items that can be sold for profit.

♻️ RESTOCK - This role is used to ping for restocks ranging across all sites and releases.

💡 US PINGER - This role is used by the monitors to ping for restocks of certain items. The RESTOCK role is used by staff to manually ping for larger restocks whereas the PINGER roles are used by the monitors to instantly ping when x item has restocked or dropped in x monitor

🔦 EU PINGER - Similarly to the US PINGER role, this role is used to ping for the same reason but for EU related restocks or drops in x monitors

📡 FOOTSITE RESTOCK - This role is used to ping for restocks of x item on any Footsite

🤑BRICKFLIPS - This role is used to ping for brickflip drops / flips

A brickflip is the process of buying x item (usually sneakers) for retail and selling them on for a few $$$ profit. Despite the low profit margins on most brickflips, if done in high volume it can yield large and easy profits

🎮🃏 🎴 💿 📀 💻 🚲 X PINGER - These roles are used to ping for restocks or drops for said role. For example the PLAYSTATION 5 PINGER role will ping for PS5 restocks and drops via the monitors

💳 CARDS - This role is used to ping for sports / Pokémon card related flips and information

🎏 POKEMON - This role is used to ping for Pokémon related flips and information

⚰️ COLLECTIBLES - This role is used to ping for collectibles flips and information

💎 YUGIOH - This role is used to ping for Yugiho related flips and information

📈 SNEAKER INVESTMENTS - This role is used to ping for sneaker investments
