ISP PROXIES
ISP proxies (internet service provider proxies) are an amazing option for essentially all sites when botting. ISP's differ a-lot from residential proxies. To the way they are sold and used to their stability and speed. There is a-lot to take in so we'll go through each section thoroughly.
BUYING ISP PROXIES
Buying ISP proxies and what you actually receive is different from residential. With residential proxies you are actually buying x amount of data. Then from that you can generate as many IP address' as you want to use that data. However when it comes to ISP's you are not buying data, you are buying a set amount of IP address'. These often come in packs of 25, 50, 100, 200 and so on. Unlike residential proxies, ISP's do not have a data limit. You can use them as much as you want within the time you purchased them for, often for 1 day, 1 week or 1 month. Prices massively depend on how long you purchase access to them for. ISP proxies typically sell for around $1.80 per IP but again, depending on what provider you purchase from you could end up spending upwards of $2.80 per IP.
ISP PERFORMANCE
When it comes to ISP's their performance, again differs from residential proxies. With resis you can obviously generate as many IP's as you want, however it is common for around 20% of your resis to be either very slow or not work well. It depends on the site however in general resis can be quite hit or miss. Lets take footsites for example, they have very heavy proxy filtering, their site often dies as they cant handle the load and they pull very weird anti-bot tricks. Resis still perform well during this mayhem but you should expect quite a a-lot of your tasks to show errors and or time out. With ISP's this tends to not happen. They are very stable and their performance is often flawless. You will not get nearly as many task errors with ISP's an as long as you have a good set of them, 100% of your tasks should be working fine.
Another great pro for ISP's is their speed. Paired with a server you will be hitting around 5-100ms depending on the site. This differs a-lot from the average 500-3000ms speeds of residential. This makes them perfect for sites such as Shopify and Supreme.
When it comes to bans and throttling, ISP's can still fall victim. Although ISP's will look legitimate to the site you are botting they are not like residential's. To put it into perspective residential's look exactly like a manual user is trying to purchase on the website, meaning the sites anti-bot will not be able to easily pick it up and block it. However as discussed in the residential guide, they can be quite unstable, slow and often die during releases. When it comes to ISP's they don't look as real as resis but are still good at looking like a real manual user so will not get banned too easily. The difference here is ISP's stability, they are much better than resis in that field and you will not see as many errors or timeouts.
Again, unlike resis that go under a-lot of strain during large drops resulting in them to become a-lot slower and even die. ISP's should remain strong during the heaviest of releases. So yes ISP's are a very good option to pick, however all these pros come at a few costs.
ISP CONS
As discussed above ISP's are very good, however they come at a few costs and we will discuss them now. First off they are expensive. As briefly discussed you will typically see 30 day ISP's being sold at roughly $1.50-$3. That equates to roughly $180 for just 100 IP's assuming you purchase at $1.80 which is actually very cheap so expect to be paying more than that. Now also remember that you are buying a set amount of IP's. You are not buying data where you can just generate as many IP's as you want whenever you want. This can be a serious con because if your batch of IP's get banned you cannot simply generate new ones like you can with resis. It is rare to see a full set of ISP's get completely banned for a long period of time but its certainly a risk. Especially when it comes to footsites.
One of the most common sites people want to use ISP's on is Footsites as they perform very well. However, and this is not just for footsites, certain sites favor a high task quantity. As you cannot generate thousands of IP's like you can with resis (at the cost of data usage) ISP's can be expensive to scale with. For footsites and YS in particular you really want to be running thousands of tasks which using ISP's does not really allow you to do unless you spend a-lot of money. Assuming you purchase ISP's at $1.80 per. For a mear 200 tasks you will have to spend $360. 200 tasks really wont get you very far on these sites that favor a large amount of tasks but with that being said we still highly recommend you pick up at-least 100 ISP's per month.
DAILIES AND WEEKLIES
As we know buying ISP's is expensive. So in attempt to market them selves as more affordable, proxy providers often allow customers to purchase them for just 1 day or 1 week at a lower price. Although this may seem like a good idea you are actually getting wildly ripped off. Lets say proxy company x sells their ISP's at $1.80 per IP for 30 day access. That breaks down to $0.06 per day. Now when you purchase daily ISP's you are not going to find much cheaper than $0.60 per IP for 1 day. That means you are essentially paying 10x the amount. Now yes dailies can be a good option because overall you are paying less whilst getting access to more for when you actually need the ISP's, on drop day. However you can easily see they are wildly more expensive.
WHEN TO UTILISE DAILY ISP'S
As we know daily ISP's are basically a rip off. However, if they are used right and paired with the right setup you can get a-lot of value out of them. If you are a beginner botter with an average bot, doesn't have that much money to spend on actual sneaker stock, and is looking to cut costs by buying daily ISP's. Do not do it. Daily ISP's are not right for you. You should only be taking advantage of daily ISP's when you have the following:
A very good bot on either Footsites or YS. Even then you dont really need ISP's for YS
Have a-lot of experience botting
Already have a good setup with a-lot of other proxies
Have a-lot of capital to spend on actual sneaker stock
If you do not have any of the following you will risk loosing money. You really need to know what your doing if your going to take advantage of a high risk high reward peripheral such as daily ISP's. More often than not you will spend a-lot of money on daily ISP's only to cop nothing and then loose all your ISP's. As a beginner you are better of purchasing a set of ISP's for the whole month so it gives you room for multiple releases and multiple chances to use your ISP's.
CONCLUSION
Overall ISP's have a-lot of pros but you need to be aware of the cons. They are stable, fast and very reliable but that comes at a few costs. ISP's are essential to success but are certainly not the key to success. There are a-lot of other factors that go into your setup that will dictate wether you are successful or not. We suggest a set of ISP's be the core to your setup, you then need to buffer that setup with a very good bot and a-lot of residential proxies.
