SHOPIFY
SHOPIFY PROXY RECOMMENDATION
When it comes to shopify there are two factors that come into play, and these factors are promient across most sneaker sites. Speed and quality. Shopify requires extremly fast speeds as your tasks need to get into queue and checkout before others.
Shopify uses a FCFS system so speed is key. Ontop of that you need quality. In an attempt to stop / slowdown bots some Shopify sites have implemeted proxy protection. This is where some ISP's, most DC's and even a few Resis will not work during a drop. They will be picked up by proxy protection (PP for short) and will be throttled for the duration of the drop. This means they will still kind of work but they will be severly slowed down making essentially impossible to cop. This is why we recommend the following:
2 Tasks Local Host (No Proxy) >
ISP's Working On PP >
Fast Residentials
The reason we recommended 2 tasks local host is because your local host is the fastest and highest quality "proxy" you can get. Although as we have discussed in previous guides you cannot run too many tasks on your local host as its the same IP.
If the site you are botting sees too many requests from the same IP address they will throttle or ban it. That is one of the main reasons we use proxies anyway. For shopify you can get away with 1-3 tasks on your local host. Any more and you will get your home IP throttled.
PROXY AMOUNT
For Shopify you dont even need proxies if you are going for the simple yet very effective method of just a few tasks on your local host. If you do choose to use proxies you do not need a-lot. If you are using residentials you do not need a-lot of data at all, each drop will probably use around 50mb of data depending on your delays and how long you run for. As for ISP's you dont need more than around 10 ISP's. Shopify is all about quality over quantity so you shouldnt be running more than 10 tasks anyway.
