WALMART

INFORMATION

Walmart is a pretty simple, plug and play site. However there are 2 types of "drops". I quote drops as a majority of Walmart botting is running tasks waiting for restocks, they are not exactly like drops you see on Shopify. Most Walmart items have likely already dropped and most botters will be running for restocks on them all day long. Below we will explain all there is to know about Walmart.

DROP STYLE #1

The first drop style we will talk about is the larger releases. These larger releases such as PS5 drops / restocks will be announced via Walmart's social media platforms. These "drops" / restocks differ a-lot from the normal Walmart routine. They enable certain anti-bot measures and are a-lot more hyped up.

As we said these will be announced prior and the product page will state the drop time. Below we will talk about some of the anti-bot measures they will put in place for these drops.

Accounts

When Walmart drops extremely high in demand products such as PS5's they will enable accounts as a requirement to checkout. As a botter this can be quite frustrating however there are many Walmart account generators out there to make this a-lot easier. We suggest you generate as many accounts as you can and have them on stand by for when drops like theses occur and an account will be required to checkout.

PerimeterX

PX for short is Walmart's anti-bot system. Its enabled all the time however when a large drop is scheduled they will drastically tweak their PX settings which can often throw off many bots and ban a-lot of proxies. That is why it is paramount you use good proxies during these drops and hope your bot has a good PX solution. There is not a whole lot you can do about this other than ensuring you are using high quality proxies such as a mix of unbanned ISP's and Residentials.

Captchas

Walmart always required captchas however when there is a large drop occurring, often times many tasks will require a captcha solve at multiple times through out the tasks cycle. This means you will have to solve a-lot of captchas during a drop. Most bots will support the use of third-party services to make it easier to get past these captchas. Our recommended provider is CapMonster. They are by far the fastest and cheapest captcha service out there so we recommend you make an account, load around $10 and hook it up to your bots.

Accounts

Accounts will be required to checkout for this drop style and there is an important ratio you need to follow in order to not get cancelled.

ACCOUNT RATIOS:

  • 1 Task Per Account

  • 1 Address Per Account (ENSURE YOU JIG YOUR ADDRESS FOR EVERY ACCOUNT)

This simply means you can only run 1 task per account and each task must have a jigged address and details assuming each task will be using an account. Essentially you do not want Walmart to see that that 1 account is being used on two different IP addresses and they don't want to see the same account submitting different / jigged information from one another. If you do not follow these ratios its highly likely your orders will be cancelled via "Suspicious account activity detected".

So make sure you have plenty of accounts available and ensure each task is a separate profile with jigged information using a different account.

DROP STYLE #2

This next drop style isn't exactly a drop style, its more of a general way the Walmart botting situation runs. Most of the time when your botting Walmart your running tasks waiting for a restock of x item. This is what we like call "off peak Walmart". That essentially means that Walmart have totally relaxed their anti-botting measures from DROP STYLE #1 and its a-lot easier to bot. They do not require accounts to checkout, PX is less strict and you shouldnt get too many captchas if any as long as you are using decent proxies.

There is not a whole lot to talk about with this drop style so we will move straight on to the setups and explain some details and ratios for both drop styles.

DROP STYLE #1 SETUP

For this drop style you ideally want as many tasks as possible however as Walmart is not a queue based system you don't need thousands of tasks. You will want to run as many as you can but there is not a whole lot of point running more than 500-1000 tasks. As long as you use good proxies and have access to a successful Walmart bot you should be good to go.

Keywords

Most bots will support either a URL, SKU, OfferID or all of them. The most common monitor input types are URL's. So depending on what your bot supports use either of those. You can access the SKU from the product URL. It is the string of numbers at the end of the URL. For example:

The SKU for this product is 493824815

Delays

We recommend 3500ms monitor and retry/error delay for this drop style

Start Time

This depends on your bot but you usually you will want to start around 5 minutes before the drop

Proxies

Its advised you use a mix of ISP's and Residentials. Basically all ISP's should work fine, some Resis may have issues but overall their proxy protection is not that harsh.

Task Count

We suggest at full force you run no more than ~800 tasks. You really don't need that many tasks as Walmart is not a queue based checkout system however you do want a good amount of tasks as during these drops the site can be slow and some tasks may be able to proceed to checkout whilst others cant. You should follow this general task count:

  • Beginner - 10-45 Tasks

  • Advanced - 45-200 Tasks

  • Ultra - 200-800 Tasks

Captchas

Your best bet is setting up a third party captcha solver such as CapMonster. This will make it a-lot easier to manage your tasks and captchas as you can expect to see multiple tasks requesting multiple captchas especially if accounts are enabled which they usually are for this drop type. If your bot does not support CapMonster use AYCD auto solve and hook up CapMonster to AYCD then AYCD to your bot.

DROP STYLE #2 SETUP

As discussed this drop style is a-lot easier to bot, PX is turned down, accounts are not required and you wont get nearly as much captcha requests. However the setup is essentially all the same apart from task count and proxies.

Task Count

These drops / restocks wont require hundreds of tasks to setup. If your proxies are fast enough and your bot works well on Walmart you should checkout with just a couple tasks. Depending on how many items you are running for you will want about 1-25 tasks per item. We have seen multiple successful checkouts using a good bot on Walmart with just 1 task per item so its really up to you and how your bot works.

Proxies

As you will be running for restocks for an extended period of time (usually 24/7) you will want to be using fast ISP's that are working and unbanned on Walmart which is most of them.

SUMMARY

Overall Walmart is a pretty simple site to drop, much like other sites such as BestBuy, PokemonCenter, B&H, GameStop, Target and more they are all basically plug and play. Make sure you read your bots guide as some parts of your setup may be specific to your bot and how it works such as task mode.
