BOT PERIPHERALS
INTRO
In the previous guide we briefly touched on bot peripherals and how much they can cost you per month but in this guide we are going to take a deeper look at what they are and analyse how much you may be looking at spending. There can be a number of different peripherals that you will need to buy, some are more necessary than other and some you only need for certain site types.
WHAT ARE BOTTING PERIPHERALS
Think of a bot like a PC. Much like how a PC needs peripherals such as a keyboard, a mouse, a mouse mat, headphones, speakers etc... a bot needs these peripherals too. When you buy a bot, you are only half way there. In most cases these peripherals are essential to the success of the bot, without them your bot can only perform at about 10% capacity. However, there are some sites that wont require as many peripherals as others. Below we will talk about the main types of peripherals a bot needs and when these peripherals are needed.
TYPES OF PERIPHERALS
PROXIES
For the most part proxies are essential to a bot. They allow you to run multiple tasks and for some sites you will want to run as many tasks as possible. Your limit is however many proxies you have and thats where the cost of proxies comes into play. For sites such as Footsites and YeezySupply you will want to run as many tasks as you can possibly afford. As each and every task has to have atleast 1 proxy that means your going to need a-lot of proxies if you want to run a-lot of tasks.
Depending on how large scale you are going you will want to pick up some Residential proxy data. This can cost anywhere between $8-$30+ per GB. We have taken 6 popular proxy providers and calculated the average price for 2GB of residential proxy data to be roughly $37.50. We say 2GB as this is generally how much you will atleast want per drop. Its incredibly hard to give an accurate reading as the amount of data we recommend you have is drastically dependent on the type of sites your botting, how often drops are happening, how large scale your going and so on. For some people 2GB of proxy data will last them the whole month and for some people they can burn through 10GB in 1 drop so it is very dependent on your situation. On average you will want about 6GB of proxy data per month which will bring your total cost for residential proxy data to around $90. However like we said, this can be drastically lower or higher.
For some sites you will want to have some ISP proxies in your arsenal. The minimum you can usually buy is 25 IP's which can cost anywhere between around $50-$70+. We recommend you atleast have 25 ISP's ready to go through out the month which will bring your total cost for the month to roughly $150.
TOOLS
Almost all botters will have some type of AIO tool which will help them along the way, the most popular one is AYCD. This tool comes with a bunch of features that you will become familiar with over time. AYCD is a an AIO tool which you will likely want to pick up at some point in your transition from a beginner to intermediate botter. It currently costs $30 per month however another, cheaper option is Essentials By Kodai which costs $23 per month. We will take the average of both and add that onto your total monthly cost which is now sitting at around $176 per month so far, on peripherals.
GMAILS AND CAPTCHA PROXIES
Captchas are seen all over botting and can be quite confusing at first. A very long story short but Gmail accounts are needed to ensure you can solve captchas quickly and easily. Without Gmail accounts your captchas will be slow which is never a good thing when botting.
Fortunately Gmail accounts are pretty cheap and you don't need to buy a-lot of them. On top of that its a one time payment and you wont need to keep buying them unless they get blacklisted which happens very rarely. A "one click" Gmail can cost you around $10. You will want to purchase around 3-5+ which will cost you around $30-50 one time payment.
However there is a catch, in order for these Gmail to maintain their "one click" status you will need to purchase Captcha proxies. Your captcha proxies, your Gmails and your AIO tool will all be used together to utilise one of the AIO tool's features called "Gmail farming" which our Gmail guide explains. Captcha proxies usually cost around $1 per IP. You will want to buy 1 IP per Gmail account however most providers will only let you buy a minimum of around 10 which will cost you $10 per month brining your total monthly payments to $186 per month excluding the one time payment of $30-$50 for the Gmail accounts.
CONCLUSION
That just about wraps it up for bot peripherals, there are many more that you will discover along the way but those are the basics. You are looking at around spending $220 for your first month then around $186 from then on out. This may seem like a-lot for a beginner and even an advanced botter however like we said, it is EXTREMLY hard to put an exact number on everyone's monthly costs.
For some people it can cost 5x that and for some it can be 5x less. It seriously depends on your situation, your skill level, the sites your botting, the bots you have, the region you are botting, the scale you are botting at and so many other factors. We have tried our best in this guide to just give you a general overview of the type of money you will be spending per month when you get into botting.
