BOTS AND BUDGETS
BUYING A BOT
As we know buying a bot can cost you anywhere between $100-$8000+. The cost of a bot can rise or fall over time. Much like high quality designer clothing is more expensive than cheap off brand clothing. The quality of the material is better, the design is better and other factors are better. Weather you choose to go all out and purchase an expensive bot or not is up to you. As the price ranges of a bot can vary drastically its hard to pin point the exact budget you will need to purchase a bot and still have money left over for peripherals and stock.
In this guide we are going to split it into 3 categories; the budget saver, the average budget and the advanced budget. Each section taking into account different budget ranges whilst attempting to maintain a setup that can actually help you succeed.
Before we start we need to break down each budget into 3 sections:
Bot Budget
Peripherals Budget
Stock Budget
In each budget we will explain how much you will need to have for each sub budget then give you a general overall budget needed.
You may start reading the guide below and realise that you don't even have the money for the first budget range then think this is not for you. If you don't have the money for any of these budget groups we recommend you read our Start Up guide which will take you through what to focus on if you cant afford a bot.
THE BUDGET SAVER
This budget is for those that want to get into botting but don't have thousands they can drop
BOT BUDGET
As someone with a smaller budget we will need to balance your choice between price and bot performance. You wont want to purchase a shit bot as it will send you in circles. Our recommendation is as follows.
Bot Budget: $350-$750
Peripherals Budget: $60-$120 Per Month
Stock Budget: $700+
Bot + Upkeep: $420 - $870
Overall: $1110-$1570+
The issue with this budget is the very limited amount of bots that are within this price range. Below we will talk about the bots you can afford and how you might want to go about starting your botting career.
DASHE 🇺🇸
Dashe is a good beginner bot, it supports Shopify, Supreme and YeezySupply however it really stands out on YeezySupply. Right now it is actually one of the best bots on YS due to its consistent domination. As a beginner its a great option due to its cheaper price. However this cheaper price comes at a cost. The cost is its only really good on YS. Although the developer is working hard on the other modules right now its only real use is YS.
If you choose this option you will be able to cook YS drops however they only come once in a while. YS drops often occur 1-3 times a month depending on what month it is, and sometimes there can be no YS drops for the whole month and even longer in some cases. Although it only performs well on YS it does have the two other modules which can get the job done. Its Shopify module isn't too bad and it will aid you tremendously on lowkey drops that DreamCook provides information on all the time. Many very profitable items drop on lowkey Shopify sites which Dashe will be able to cook on. The issue with Dashe is its limited site list and limited performance on its other modules.
Buying Dashe will set you back roughly $320. You will then need to spend roughly $45-$60 on peripherals per month bringing you down to $365-$380 initial cost, you will then need as much capital for stock as much as possible. As you will be targeting Yeezys with the average price of $230 you will want to be able to atleast cop 5-10 pairs meaning ideally you will need a stock budget of around $1150+
Now this initial $1515+ may be daunting but this is taking into account everything you will need to get the ball rolling. In many cases especially Shopify you will be able to use your credit card if you have one so you don't need that much in actual disposable cash but its best to take into account everything so you can make an accurate judgement.
Again you may be wondering, if I'm going to end up spending this much why don't I just buy a good bot worth the same. Yes you could do that but your not taking into account the capital you will need to be able to cop enough pairs for this operation to be profitable.
The more money you put into reselling, in most cases, the more money you can get out. That is one of the most important statements in botting, like many things such as stocks and investments. The more you put in the more you can get out if your successful.
SPLASHFORCE 🇺🇸
On the topic of YS bots, Splash Force is another great option. Similarly to Dashe it has other modules such as Shopify, Supreme and some others, these modules do not work at the moment. SF has been on the rapid decline the past couple months due to its consistent failure over the past few Yeezy drops. However this bot 100% has potential to come back strong and may be a good investment opportunity as the price is highly likely to rocket once it starts dominating YS and Adidas like it once did. This bot comes at a higher price tag of around $650 - $670 however as this is just a YS / Adidas bot with no other working modules you wont have to spend as much on proxies.
PROJECT DESTROYER 🇺🇸
PD is another great option for this budget range. This bot has been around since the beginning and has had its major ups and downs. The team behind this bot is incredibly dedicated and push it to make it the best it can be. This bot has many modules that perform pretty well such as Shopify, Footsites, Supreme, Adidas and Yeezy Supply. Although it may not perform that great it is certainly a great beginner bot with the potential to cook if paired with high quality peripherals which leads me onto my next point. As this bot supports more site types you are going to want to spend a bit more on peripherals such as proxies. If you pair this mediocre bot with some good proxies you have great potential to do very well. Below we'll break down the costs.
PD is going to set you back around $470 and you will want to pair that with some good peripherals which will set you back around $75 per month bringing you down to $545 initial investment. You will then want as much capital for stock as possible so you will need a stock budget of around $1150+. Brining your total initial investment to $1645. Again, as you progress you can reinvest your profits back into your budget which can rapidly grow the more you cop and trigger a snowball effect. The more you cop the more profit you will make meaning the more you can reinvest meaning your budget gets bigger meaning you can cop more and so on.
FLEEK FRAMEWORK 🇪🇺
Fleek is another great option that is well within the budget range. This is an EU dedicated bot with an extensive site list. Despite Fleek's cheaper price they have recently had great success on their Mesh and Zalando modules with some users being able to secure hundreds of pairs. If you are from the EU and this is your budget range this could be a great option. As this bot has a pretty extensive site lists your monthly costs on peripherals might be a bit high. Below is a cost breakdown.
Fleek costs around $300. In the EU you will want to be copping as many pairs as possible so with this low bot cost it might give you the opportunity to dedicate more funds to your stock budget which can be very beneficial in the EU's case. Peripherals will set you back around $60 a month bringing you to $360. In general the sneakers that drop in the EU are a bit cheaper so you will want a stock budget of around $600+. Again the more money in your stock budget the better. However once again, if you have a credit card you can use credit as your sneaker stock budget. Either way your total initial cost is looking like around $360 for the bot and your first month of peripherals and a total of around $1000.
THE AVERAGE BUDGET
This is a pretty good budget range as it opens your options up a-lot more and allows for a quicker rise in success. Below is the general budget breakdown along with a few recommended bots in this budget range.
Bot Budget: $750-$1750
Peripherals Budget: $60-$120 Per Month
Stock Budget: $700+
Bot + Upkeep: $810 - $1870
Overall: $1510 - $2570+
Just a quick note, your "Stock Budget" ideally needs to be as big as you can make it, our guidelines are sort of the minimum you will need for a sustainable and profitable starting experience. However by all means you are able to build from a smaller stock budget, the bigger the budget the more you can cop meaning the more profit you can make.
SoleAIO 🇺🇸
Sole is an incredibly powerful bot with huge potential, although this is the average budget range we consider SoleAIO one of the best bots out there. Despite their small development team they have proven successful with years of consistent success. Like all bots, they have had their ups and downs. They recently released a massive update which was meant to rocket their price but didn't due to the large amount of their userbase being bot flippers. When everyone tried to sell their copies after the update it drove the price down. Being priced at around $1500 right now we feel this bot is a bit undervalued. Although they have a pretty large userbase this can still be a great investment as the price is suspected to increase overtime.
SoleAIO has a very extensive site list including Shopify, Supreme, Footsites, Yeezy Supply, Adidas, Dicks Sporting Goods, Finishline, JD Sports and more on the way this bot can set you up for great success. This massive site list will require a-lot of peripherals so the monthly spend on this bot and budget will be a bit higher. Below is a cost breakdown.
SoleAIO will set you back around $1500. Due to its large site list your peripherals are going to be around $90+ per month bringing the total initial investment up to around $1590. Again you want your stock budget to be as big as possible and with this large scale site list you will want a stock budget of around $1000+ but again, with all these bots you can work with what you have and build it from there. Either way your total investment for Sole is going to be around $2590.
Although the total investment is $30 over the overall calculated budget for this budget range it is dependent on your stock budget. This is a great option and pretty cheap for the level of bot that SoleAIO is.
BurstAIO 🇪🇺
BurstAIO has had immense success in the EU region recently and as a result its resell value has rocketed. Unfortunately you are not able to pick up this bot for a cheap price anymore. BurstAIO has a very long site list including sites such as SVD, BSTN, Off-White, Courir, Footdistrict and many more. For the full site list check it out on their site here. Due to this very extensive site lists members are able to dominate the EU scene with this bot. It is a very good choice to go with and it also has the potential to rise in value and catch up with its EU top dogs such as Ganesh. Below we will break down the costs.
Burst currently costs around $1300. Due to its extensive site list you will want to spend a bit more on peripherals however, as this is an EU bot your peripherals costs wont be as high as some of our US bot recommendations. With peripherals setting you back around $60 per month your total investment for BurstAIO is roughly $1360. With a site list this long you ideally want a big stock budget but as this is EU, sneakers are typically a bit cheaper so our recommended stock budget is roughly $650 to start with. That brings your total cost to $2010 for BurstAIO. Once again, this is a hefty price tag but that also includes your stock budget. You can work with anything you have, that is just what we recommend you atleast have.
HawkMesh 🇪🇺
HawkMesh is another EU dedicated bot which performs exceptionally well on the Mesh site type. Although they perform very well on Mesh, they also offer sites such as The Hip Store and Footlocker EU. Although there are much better options for EU this is certainly a good option for this price range.
Hawk will set you back around $1400. Due to its narrow performance on one module your monthly peripherals cost wont be that high. Costing you around $50 per month your looking at around $1450 initial investment. With HawkMesh giving many users the opportunity to purchase multiples you are going to want a big stock budget of around $700 bringing your total initial investment to $2150.
RushAIO 🇺🇸
Despite Rush's controversial future business model, this bot can destroy bots. Rush performs exceptionally well on Footsites however it has also seen great success on its other modules such as NBA. Rush currently supports Footsites, Hibbett, Dicks Sporting Goods, Finishline Nordstorm and a few others. Although it might not be the best bot it is certainly a great bot for this price range.
However there is one major downside to rush. It has an incredibly high monthly cost of $100 per month or $1000 per year. So your initial investment of around $1380 is going to also be met with $100 per month. Depending on when and who you buy from your initial investment for Rush is going to be around $1380 for the bot, $100 for the next months renewal then around $70 for peripherals.
This bot will cost you nearly $200 per month to upkeep which includes a hefty amount of peripherals which will surely set you up for success. With your initial investment at around $1550 you will be looking at a total initial investment at roughly $2350 when accounting for a $800 stock budget.
THE ADVANCED BUDGET
After writing this guide we decided to split The Advanced Budget into two sections, The Advanced Budget and The Ultra-Advanced Budget. These two budgets can be drastically different by a few thousand dollars however all bots in both categories can be very similar in performance. Bots in the advanced budget can perform just as well or even sometimes better than some of the bots in the ultra-advanced budget.
Bot Budget: $1750-$3000
Peripherals Budget: $80-$150 Per Month
Stock Budget: $2000+
Bot + Upkeep: $1830 - $3150
Overall: $3800 - $5150+
🇺🇸 Nebula
Nebula is a great bot with an extremely hard working development team. Its proven its immense success on sites such as Footsites, Walmart and its bread and butter; Shopify restocks. It has an ever growing, extensive site list including Footsites, YeezySupply, Shopify, Supreme, Walmart, PokemonCenter. At the time of writing this guide Nebula is also testing a Nike module which can have a positive impact on the bots resell price if it performs. Nebula has a very intuitive UI which is basic yet advanced and allows beginners to understand the features of a bot quickly. Nebula is certainly a great choice for this price range.
Nebula will currently cost you around $2500 and with its extensive site list your peripherals budget will need to be around $100 per month bringing the total investment up to around $2600. As we transition onto more expensive bots your initial investment is creeping up into dangerous territory. You will need to have a stock budget big enough to support the level of copping Nebula can do which is why we suggest a budget of around $1600 brining your total initial investment up to roughly $4200.
🇺🇸 Balko
Balko is another great bot. It absolutely dominates the Shopify site type being known as the best bot for Shopify. It often performs just as well as Nebula for Shopify restocks and has been the king for a-long time. The downside of Balko is its only really good at Shopify. It features a site list including: Shopify, Adidas, Supreme, Footsites and Off-White. Not as extensive as Nebula but still a great option if you are looking to dominate Shopify releases.
Balko will cost you around $2000, as you will be focusing Shopify your peripherals will be in the mid range as you will have to purchase proxies, grails, a Gmail harvester such as AYCD and some captcha proxies.
With peripherals costing you around $100+ per month your initial investment will be about $2100. As you will be focusing Shopify you wont need an insane budget as its hard to immediately start cooking multiple pairs on this site type. You will want a stock budget of around $800 bringing your total initial investment to around $2900+ for Balko.
Polaris is another great pickup in this price range. It has a pretty long site list and is able to perform exceptionally well on Footsites, Adidas and YS. They support the following sites; YeezySupply, Adidas, Footsites, Supreme, Shopify and Mesh. One thing to note is they are also able to perform very well on EU sites such as Footlocker EU with members securing thousands of pairs when even some EU dedicated bots did not perform as well. In our opinion this is a great all rounder which can perform well on sites that allow for users to cop multiples easier. Below we will talk about the costs.
As this bots performance is geared more towards Footsites, YS and Adidas you wont have to spend a whole lot on peripherals. With Polaris costing roughly $2390 your initial investment will be around $2465 including a $75 per month peripherals cost. With this type of bot you will want to focus on your stock budget. The sites it excels on allow for the ability to cop multiples of pairs meaning you will want a stock budget of around $2000 brining your total initial investment up to $4465.
THE ULTRA-ADVANCED BUDGET
This budget is for those willing to put a-lot of money into this and for those that understand, although it can be a hefty investment and it carries a hell of a-lot more risk, it can propel you into success at a much larger scale and speed. The bots mentioned in the previous budget ranges are all capable of performing just as well as some of these bots so you need to understand the balance and that the top bots are not 100% of the time destroying releases. In most cases the bots with consistent high scale success sit at the top of the price range however there are some bots that can perform just as well but are under priced due to other reasons.
Bot Budget: $3500+
Peripherals Budget: $150-$500 Per Month
Stock Budget: $5000+
Bot + Upkeep: $3650+
Overall: $8000 - $11000+
Again this is an incredible amount of money but the overall estimation also includes the amount of money you will want for stock for a bot of such level to have the ability to use max potential. There is no point having a sports car if the max speed is set to 20 MPH
Prism is a very versatile bot featuring an extremely intuitive UX which is very beginner friendly. They have proven their success on almost every site they support. Prism is able to destroy sites such as Footsites, FNL/JD, Hibbett and more recently Shopify. They are constantly evolving and are able to produce very consistent numbers which is why its priced at roughly $2950. Supporting many sites such as; Shopify, Supreme, FNL/JD, Hibbett, Footsites and Yeezy Supply this is a very good option for a high performance all round bot.
With bot peripherals coming in at around $120 ish per month and a stock budget of around $3000+ your total initial investment for Prism will be around $6100+
🇺🇸 Torpedo
Torpedo has had a quick rise to the top after their total domination on Footsites. They constant success on this site type has made their price and status sky rocket. This is considered one of the best Footsite bots as it is constantly allowing members to secure hundreds of pairs each. With this type of bot you will really want to pair it with a large stock budget and some very good bot peripherals which will mean this setup is going to cost you a-lot but enable you to hit incredible success.
With Torpedo costing around $4800 and peripherals at about $150 per month you will be set back roughly $4950 off the bat. As this is a bot which allows for high volume success you are going to want a very large stock budget of around $4500+ brining your total initial investment for Torpedo to around $9450.
🇺🇸 Cyber
Cyber has always been one of the top bots even through its stages of pretty poor performance in comparison to its price. Although we believe its a bit inflated now this is certainly a good all round bot to pick up and potentially make money off as its set to release its 5.0 update soon which is bound to bring innovative features and updates. Cyber performs very well on sites such as Shopify, Supreme and Footsites. It has a very large site list which can be found here. It is able to perform exceptionally well on many of the sites it performs and has a team of very experienced devs who have been in this scene for a long time.
Cyber will cost you around $6650 and monthly peripherals will cost around $110 per month. Your stock budget does not need to be immensely high as some however we recommend it to be around $4000 brining your total initial investment to roughly $10760.
Again I just want to point out that these are incredibly high numbers but the total initial investment includes the recommended stock budget. By all means you can purchase a bot in this price range and have as little as $500 for your stock budget. It will not be very efficient and it may take longer but it can be done. We are simply stating what we recommend you have in your bank that you are able to spend on stock. It is calculated by the price and how much the bot is able to secure high volume cooks which will require a large budget. It is a very ball park guess and should be taken with pinch of salt
Ganesh is a bot which absolutely dominates the EU scene with constant success on many if not all of the sites they support. Its been one of the kings of EU for a long long time with no slow down in sight. Defiantly a good pick up if you are targeting EU sites and have the money for this.
Ganesh will cost around $4350 and peripherals will cost around $100 per month. With a recommended stock budget of around $3500+ you are looking at a $7950 initial investment for Ganesh. There is not much else to say about this, it is the EU king and if you have the money for this and want to rapidly succeed in the EU, go for it.
🇪🇺 MBot
TheMobileBot is literally a mobile bot. That may scare you and seem insane to spend this amount of money on an APP but it has insane success. Its UI is very simple and easy. Anyone can learn the basics on Mbot very quickly. MBot is another bot that has been dominating the EU scene. Its extensive site list includes; Off-White, Farfetch, Solebox, Mesh, JD Sports US, Finishline and Rimowa. Although not the best EU site its still at the top of the food chain for EU, specifically mesh.
Mbot currently costs around $3950. Due to the nature of the bot and the site it supports your bot peripherals can be pretty low coming in at around $75 per month. Our recommended stock budget for MBot is around $3500 brining the total initial investment up to $6625. Although this is extremely high for a mobile bot, don't let that scare you. This bot can certainly set you up for immense success.
🇺🇸 Kodai
Kodai has been considered one of the best bots in the world for a long time. Many bots have been able to catch up with its immense success and its seen a slight dip in price because of this. Kodai is still able to dominate the scene with high performance over many sites that it supports. Kodai currently supports; Shopify, Supreme, Footsites, Finishline, JD Sports, Yeezy Supply and Adidas. With significant performance on Footsites, FNL/JD and Occasionally Supreme. Like many other bots in this category its potential is crazy. It is continually able to dominate all over despite its somewhat limited site list. Defiantly a good pick up if you have the money.
Kodai will currently cost you around $4400 with monthly peripherals at around $100 per month. You will want a budget of atleast around $3500+ brining the total initial investment to $8000.
CONCLUSION
This concludes our guide and should hopefully give you some insight into the costs of botting and how different bots can have different prices depending on a number of factors. We constantly tried to remind you through out this guide that you can easily work with what you have, our numbers are merely just guidelines and can be completely ignored. Many bots in each category have the absolute chance of "flopping" and not performing as expected. We hope this guide has not given you the perception that just because it has a high price tag it will make you instant cash. Botting is an extremely hard and unforgiving way of making money.
Often times people running the exact same bot as you using the exact same peripherals as you will be securing hundreds of pairs whilst you take L after L. There is a-lot of trial end error involving with botting and it is not as glamorous as it seems. Make sure you do your research, make sure you are using money you are comfortable with loosing.
Anyway, there are many more bots to choose from. These were just some of our suggestions and what we think are good bots for the price. Some may disagree so its up to you to do your research into the bot you are looking to cop. Be sure to checkout our other guides such as BOT PERIPHERALS to get a deeper understanding of the costs involved in botting.
