BUYING
INFORMATION
Buying a bot was once a risky and tedious process however over the years buying and selling bots has become extremely easy for users. There are around 2 main platforms that users can buy, sell and trade bots. Below we will talk about the process and how to stay safe.
WHERE TO BUY A BOT
BOTBROKER
As we said there are 2 main ways you can buy and bot. The first one being BotBroker. This site is a very beginner-friendly and safe environment for users to buy and sell a bot. It completely cuts out the risks of buying and selling as it's all done through their automated platform which is linked up to the bots.

There is a very wide range of bots for sale by other users on this site and next, we will explain it in a bit more detail. Much like marketplaces such as eBay, BotBroker allows users to sell bots. When you buy a bot through BotBroker you are actually buying the bot from another person. BotBroker essentially acts as a middle man in the transaction and deals with all the details in a similar way to how eBay or StockX works. When buying a bot you'll obviously want to get the cheapest price possible. This means you will want to look at 3 numbers. The last sale price, the highest bid and the lowest ask. Usually, sales will float at around the midpoint between asks and bids.
Let's say the highest bid is $500 and the lowest ask is $550 that means someone is willing to pay $500 for the bot and there is no one else willing to pay that much and there is someone willing to sell at $550 and there is no one else willing to sell as low. This gap will get smaller and smaller until there is a sale then it will sort of reset. So let's say someone comes along and wants the bot badly so places a bid at $520 which is $20 more than the previous highest bid, that person is now the highest bidder. Now let's say someone comes along and wants to sell fast, they will undercut the lowest ask and maybe place and ask at $540 meaning they are now willing to sell their bot at a lower price than anyone else giving them the lowest ask status. This will keep happening until there is a sale. As a buyer, it depends how badly you want the bot, a general rule of thumb is to never buy the bot from the lowest ask unless you are in desperate need, always place and ask matching or higher than the highest bid. DISCORD MARKETPLACES
BotBroker is one of the main ways to buy and sell bots and removes the need for a middle man however this can come at a cost as BotBroker charges a pretty high fee so an alternative is Discord market places. Although there are many discord marketplaces that all essentially do the same thing, the 2 main ones are tidal and botmart. These are large scale discord servers with thousands of people all looking to buy, sell, trade, rent and rent out bots. As a beginner, these servers can be pretty confusing so we will break it down.

In this example, we have taken a category called "SOLE". This category is for the bot called SoleAIO. Each category in discord marketplaces will be for a different bot. Next, we see 5 channels in this category and we will go through them all.
SOLE-INFO
In this channel, you will learn about a lot of information about the bot such as its retail price, pricing structure, operating system support, site support, unbinding process and more. Its very useful to read up on such channels to gain a better understanding of the bot you are interested in.
WTS-SOLE
WTS means "want to sell" in this channel members will post WTS asks which will look something like this.

Here we see a member asking for $1350 for a renewal key and or $1900 for a lifetime key. They also included OBO which means "or best offer". Next there are a few more details such as 500+ refs which means he has got a-lot of referrals potentially meaning he's a legitimate seller which is not necessarily needed as you will be covered by a middle man however it makes their listing stand out. All payment methods accepted is self explanatory. Next he says middleman fee covered. When buying and selling a bot you will want to use a middle man which will cost you around $10, this particular person is willing to pay that fee.
WTT-WTB-SOLE
This is a channel where members can post WTT and WTB bids. WTT means "want to trade" meaning they want to trade another bot or item for SoleAIO. WTB means "want to buy". Below we will talk about a WTB bid.

Most WTB's will look something like this. In this persons case we can see WTB sole renewal $1000. This means hes willing to pay $1000 for a renewal key of SoleAIO. He also says WTT Phoenix / Sypion / 2xKoi for your bots. This means hes willing to trade the listed bots for SoleAIO however he does say "for your bots" which sort of implies hes willing to trade those bots for not just SoleAIO but you get the picture. Next are a few details which are self explanatory.
SOLE-RENT-SELL
This is a channel where members can list rental asks for SoleAIO. Below we will talk about some WTRO asks.

WTRO means "want to rent out" which means this person is willing to rent out their copy of SoleAIO to you for x amount of time. Below we see - Daily: $10. This means this person is willing to give you SoleAIO for 24hours for $10. The rest is self explanatory.
Renting can be quite risky and confusing at first so we recommend you read our renting guide before exploring the realms of renting bots
SOLE-RENT-BUY
This is a channel where members can post bids for renting SoleAIO. Below we will talk about the details.

As we can see this person is posting a WTR bid which means "want to rent" he's willing to pay $5 for a 24 rental on the 18th. When looking to rent a bot you will want to be somewhere in the middle of the WTRO asks and WTR bids however in most cases its only a few $ difference so if your in a hurry just find the cheapest WTRO ask.
MIDDLE MEN
When buying and selling bots the safest way to do so is by using a market place such as tidal or botmart. These are discord servers which allow users to browse bids and asks for certain bots. Once you have found someone who is willing to sell to you for a price you both agree at you will want to next seek out a middle man. A middle man is essentially someone who will safely transfer the bot from the seller to the buyer and transfer the money from the buyer to the seller. If you were not to use a middle man, either the buyer or seller would have to give up their possession weather its the funds or the bot first, to do such a trade without a middle man is EXTREMLY risky and you must trust the other person to not run away with your money without handing you over the bot.
Once you have searched through and found someone open a middle man ticket and explain the details of the transaction. Long story short the middle man will take the bot off the seller and make sure the seller has absolutely no access to it anymore. Once they have done that they will ask you to send the funds to the seller, once the seller confirms they received the funds the middle man will transfer the bot to you meaning both the seller and buyer are safe.
On a site such as BotBroker you do not need a middle man as the transaction is handled through their site.
